8 | Keeping in mind the Disability Inclusion Strategy that stresses the inclusion and accessibility to |
9 | disabled persons in the workplace |

11 | Considering that Ireland possesses the largest disability unemployment gap within the European |

14 | Emphasizing the alarming levels of discrimination, in Ireland and beyond, of that employers in |
15 | hiring disabled persons |

17 | Proclaims that several of the jobs provided, for disabled persons, did not meet national minimum |
18 | wage regulations |

20 | Alarmed by that over 38% of disabled and chronically ill persons in Ireland were at risk of poverty |
21 | and social exclusion, this rate being more than doubled compared to other adults (Irish Human |
22 | Rights and Equality Commission) |

24 | The delegation of Ireland does hereby: |

26 | Calls upon the United Nations Human Rights council to endorse a program throughout Ireland to |
27 | better accommodate for the needs and employment of disabled persons |

29 | Seeks that this program is to provide gratuitous resources to persons with disabilities to find and |
30 | sustain reasonable employment |

32 | Recommends that other United Nation member countries provide this service, through their |
33 | Department of Labor and Humans Rights Commission, following this outline, to accommodate to |
34 | and combat their disabled population's employment gap |

36 | Further requests the United Nations allocate 30,000 USD to the Irish delegation to fund this |
